ISO 9000 Support and Maintenance Programs
QRC offers Customized Support and a Full-Service Support Program.
Both support programs are suitable for:
- ISO 9000:1994 Systems
- ISO 9001:2000 Systems
- ISO 9001:2000 Preparation Programs
- ISO 9000:1994 transition to ISO 9001:2000 Programs
Customized Support Method of Operation:
- QRC assigns an ISO Maintenance Coordinator to the organization
- (The Maintenance Coordinator is supported by QRC's ISO 9000 resources.)
- The Maintenance Coordinator usually liaises with the organization's ISO 9000 Management Representative
- The fees for the QRC services are calculated on a "services used" basis.
Customized Support List of Services
- Document writing
As new documentation is introduced, or existing documents are changed
- Internal Audits
Conducting the organization's ISO 9000 Internal Audits, or, providing "as needed" audit capacity when the organization's Internal Auditors are unable to maintain the Audit Schedule
- Supplier Audits
Supplier Audits conducted to the requirements of the organization's ISO 9000 program
- Customer Audits
System support during Audits conducted by actual or potential customers
- Certification or Surveillance Audits
System support during Certification or Surveillance Audits
- Corrective Action Program
Support for the organization's Corrective Action activities
- Preventive Action Program
Support for the organization's Preventive Action activities
- Special Projects
Support for ISO 9000 based special projects (e.g. Customer Focus programs)
- Training and Coaching
Providing training or coaching services as required (e.g. Orientation training or Internal Auditor training and coaching)
Full-Service Method of Operation:
- QRC assigns a suitably qualified ISO 9000 Maintenance Coordinator to the organzation
(The Maintenance Coordinator is supported by QRC's ISO 9000 resources.)
- The Maintenance Coordinator usually reports to the organization's ISO 9000 Management Representative
- The services required from the Maintenance Coordinator vary according to the changing requirements of the organization.
- Depending on the requirements of the User organization, the fees for the services of the Maintenance Coordinator can be calculated on a "services used" basis, or can be established as a periodic retainer.
Typical Responsibilities of the Full Service Maintenance Coordinator:
- Monitoring the ISO 9000 System to insure that procedures and processes are being followed
- Reporting findings, with recommendations
- Coordinating the organization's Internal Audit program
- Conducting Internal Audits (when required)
- Providing support during Customer Audits
- Providing support during Certification and Surveillance Audits
- Conducting Supplier Audits in accordance with the policies and processes of the organization
- Supporting the organization's Corrective Actions program
- Reporting recommendations for Preventive Actions
- Reporting recommendations for Continual Improvement
- Collecting Systems data, as required by the ISO 9000 Standard and the policies and procedures of the organization
- Preparing System reports for Management Review meetings
- Conducting Special Projects (e.g. ISO 9000:1994 transition to ISO 9001:2000 programs)
- Providing ISO 9000 based training and coaching
