Dan Terry
Dan Terry is the President and Chief Executive Officer at Quality Resource Center.
Dan has a 30-year background in the semiconductor and telecommunications industries.
He was Vice President of Global Quality Systems of Catalyst Semiconductor (now ON Semiconductor), Senior Engineering Manager with Atmel Corporation, and held Engineering Management positions with Advanced Micro Devices, VLSI Technology, Xicor (now Intersil), and Signetics Corp.
Dan is a certified ISO/TS 16949 Lead Auditor and has implemented and managed ISO 9001, ISO 13485, AS 9100 and ISO/TS 16949 quality systems.
He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic Engineering Technology from the DeVry Institute of Technology at Chicago, Illinois, and has completed additional course work at San Jose State (Mathematics), and the University of California at Berkeley (Business).

Ken McCann
Ken is the Founder and Fellow Emeritus of Quality Resource Center. Ken has nearly 40 years of experience as a Senior Manager in the Computer industry.
Ken spent twenty years in R&D, Engineering, Field Support, Manufacturing and Quality Management at NCR Corp. Ken was the Quality Manager at Atari, Systems Industries, Machine Technology and SF2 Corp in Silicon Valley.
Ken holds a BS degree in Business Management from Chapman University of Orange, California and is a licensed contractor in the State of California.
Ken is a member of SCORE, sponsored by the Small Business Administration, providing counseling to small businesses.

Jane Birkenstock
Jane has a B.A. degree in Education from the University of Wisconsin and was a high school teacher for ten years.
She has a 7 year background in capital equipment finance and was an administrator of a medical clinic for four years.
Ms. Birkenstock has worked in sales, marketing, and administration for multiple printed circuit board design, fab and assembly companies located in the San Jose area. Jane is a professional writer and has written educational and business materials published by Rand McNally and McGraw Hill. She is a recognized authority on process auditing and has written training materials that relate to the ISO 9001 Standard and internal auditing.
As an associate of QRC since 1992, Ms. Birkenstock provides sales, marketing, and administrative services for the organization. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Joe Faver
Joe has more than forty years experience as a senior manager in the electronics industry.
He has held positions in Systems Engineering, Quality Engineering and Quality Management at IBM, Xerox and NEC.
He holds a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, a B.A. in Mathematics from Cal Poly State University, San Luis Obispo, and an MBA from Santa Clara University.
As a QRC Associate since 1998, Joe provides ISO 9001 implementation services and Internal Auditor Training. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Susan West
Susan has a 30-year background in computer manufacturing and parts distribution industries. She has broad based knowledge in technical, personnel and services areas, as well as business/management training and quality assurance. For 24 years she held various positions at IBM including Quality Assurance Manager, Manufacturing Manager and Manager of Site Support Services.
Susan has more than 600 hours of IBM management training. She is a certified ISO 9000 Lead Assessor and has supported companies in multiple industries to achieve ISO 9000 certification.
Susan has a degree in Business Administration from San Jose State University in San Jose, CA.

Karl Ball
Karl is a QA Professional with extensive experience in the design, development, implementation and maintenance of ISO 9000, ISO 14000, and ISO 13485 quality management systems in the following industrial sectors: Design and Development, Data Management Systems, Telecommunications, Computer, Contract Manufacturing, Semiconductor and Winchester Disk Drive.
Karl holds a BS degree in Physics and Mathematics from Defiance College in Ohio, and has done graduate work in Physics at New York University. He is trained as a Lead Auditor in ISO 9001, ISO 14000, and AS 9100, and has assisted multiple organizations to achieve and maintain certification to ISO Standards. He has been an active member of ASQ since 1990.

Stephen Malstrom
Steve has over 40 years of experience as an electronic design engineer, quality professional, and consultant in reliability and quality management systems. Design experience includes nuclear instrumentation, electronic test equipment and semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
The general fields of reliability include military aircraft devices, medical devices and computer media systems. Steve holds a BSEE degree majoring in electronics. As an associate with QRC since 1998, Steve has worked with over 40 organizations to achieve and/or maintain ISO 9001 registration.

Nick Nichol
Nick has over 35 years in the technology industry.
This includes twenty-five years at Hewlett Packard in engineering and business management in design, production, marketing, quality and service. He also worked for five years at G.E. as a systems engineer in the nuclear industry.
Nick is a senior member of ASQ and a certified trainer. He has been involved with ISO 9001 since 1994 as an ISO 9001 Management Rep, lead auditor, and consultant.
Nick has a B.S. degree in electrical engineering plus graduate courses from San Jose State University. He also an A.A. in electronic technology.

Hugh Rose
Hugh Rose has a 25-year background as a stage and film actor, writer and director. He has acted and directed in American and British regional theater and appeared in television shows and commercials. Hugh has conducted product seminars, written end-user manuals, developed audio and video training tools, and made more than 100 industrial training films.
Hugh is an ISO consultant and provides implementation assistance, procedure writing, internal auditor training, and auditing services for the ISO 9001, AS9100, and TS16949 standards. He has assisted multiple companies to implement and maintain ISO certification.
Hugh has a BFA degree from Point Park College, Pittsburgh, PA, and a 3 year Certificate of Drama through the University of London, UK. He holds IRCA-QMS Lead Auditor certification and is an independent contract auditor for one of the larger ISO registrars.

Maria Milo
Maria is an ASQ Certified Six Sigma Black Belt, and a Lean Six Sigma professional.
She has over 15 years combined experience in semiconductor and board manufacturing, and big box retail. Maria held various positions in the semiconductor industry including Director of Quality, Manufacturing Manager, and Statistical Process Control Manager.
She is a trained ISO9000 Lead Auditor and has extensive experience in integrating SPC, six sigma and lean methodologies into the QA and manufacturing operations. She also held positions as a Six Sigma Master Black Belt, and Black Belt in a Fortune 50 and a Fortune 500 company, respectively.
Maria has trained several engineers and managers in the US, Asia, and Europe on Six Sigma and SPC methodologies. Maria holds a degree in Economics from St. Louis University, Philippines, and a Master’s Degree in Statistics from Iowa State University in Ames, IA, USA.

Johnny Him
Mr. Him has over 15 years of industry and consulting experience.
He has extensive experience in a wide array of change management disciplines applied to a broad cultural spectrum.
He has assisted multinational companies in supply chain management and implemented Lean-Six Sigma Enterprise tools, techniques and philosophy, in Mexico, Brazil, Spain, Colombia, Panama, Argentina, Japan, China and the US.
He has developed, taught and implemented 6 Sigma (Process Excellence) tools in both manufacturing and service environments. Mr. Him also has a strong background and experience in implementing product, customer and supplier rationalization programs.

Richard Biggs
Richard Biggs has 35+ years in engineering and QEHS management in manufacturing and ITAD industries.
He is experienced in multi-plant and international project management.
He is a RABQSA certified ISO 9001:2008 lead auditor and has Implemented and managed ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, RIOS and R2 management systems.
Richard has a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Technology from Ohio University and has completed additional course work at Franklin University, Columbus Ohio (business), holds an SPC training certification form Baldwin-Wallace College and is a senior member of ASQ.
